  2. Preciosa imagen. Me recuerda a San Francisco por los grafittis y los rieles del tranvia.

  11. Hi smalldot,

If you will come to Lisboa, you really need to visit:

    - Cascais (more or less 15Km's from Lisboa)
    - Sintra (is Unesco Heritage - its a magical place...)

In Lisboa, you should to visit the old part of the city:

    - Alfama
    - Madragoa
    - Bairro Alto
    - Chiado
    - Baixa
    - Castelo S. Jorge

Then go to the new part of Lisboa

    - Oriente

Consider also to visit the ocenário
(its the second biggest sea wife in Europe)

To eat, well, the real Portuguese food is great, you will eat good food almost everywhere ;-)

If you need more info, please tell me

do you ever borrow a car from Lisboa? can you recommend me a good company? and one more thing.. I heard is difficult with parking in Lisboa, do you know some good places to let the car when visiting Lisboa? some address will be good, if it's possible with cheap parking tax :D

  19. aah.. and one more thing.. where can I see fado? I will like a lot to feel the atmosphere of Lisboa

    ResponderEliminar
  20. Hi Smalldot, You can and should heard fado in almost every restaurant / bar that you can find in the old part os the city.

But you will find it for sure in Alfama =)

I dont have any experience with renting cars, but i know that there are many companys in the airport.

Well Parking... That difficult. If you go to the new part of Lisbon, park the car in Oriente train station (cheap and secure)

But let keep talking, i can give more advices (now i'm in my job, but tonight i can answer you with more details).

    =)
